Welcome to Tilligerry Habitat. The Habitat is a State Reserve Trust that is staffed entirely by volunteers.This is a small but informative website promoting the Tilligerry Peninsula and Port Stephens Area of NSW Australia, and the activities offered by our Environment and Information Centre. Tilligerry Peninsula lies just 2.5 hours drive north of Sydney, on the South Western shore of Port Stephens. Habitat offers:

  • Easy loop walks on boardwalk and sand or gravel tracks
  • The chance to view koalas in their native habitat
  • Guided walks and eco-tours, with skilled koala spotters and bush tucker orientation;
  • A native nursery, filled with plants local to the area for people wanting to create a home for wildlife in their own backyards
  • Local Arts and Crafts
